Tiburon Subsea has announced the appointment of Jerry Sgobbo as a Board Advisor, effective September 9th, 2025. Sgobbo will advise Tiburon’s leadership on US government acquisition pathways, defense-partner engagement, and commercialization strategy as the company expands.

Nearly 80 years after the sinking of the USS Harder, a US Navy submarine, its wreckage has been discovered in the South China Sea. Renowned for sinking the most Japanese warships during World War II, it was found by Tiburon Subsea CEO Tim Taylor and his team, in collaboration with the Lost 52 Project.
